Making a cooker hood from recycled aluminium…
Yet another completed addition to the build is the cooker hood. This has been made by my dad out of lightweight recycled aluminium sheeting. He used the cardboard template I made earlier as a pattern. It looks excellent (thanks Dad).
The cooker hood will funnel all the heat and steam from the cooker out of the vehicle via the chimney in the picture below. It’s actually a caravan gas-fire flue but should work equally well as a cooker hood flue. It cost me £15.00 new from eBay.
