Cutting down recycled caravan cushions for the bed…
Not much to show on this post, but it’s still an important one never the less.
As you can see, I’ve cut down the old caravan cushions to the correct sizes (using an electric carving knife) and re-sewn the covers to make up the mattress for the bed.
The bed measures 69″ x 56″ so it’s a good size and very comfy. The two large pieces of cushion are the seat cushions, and the very small piece of cushion is going to live under the main seating unit. I’m not sure where I’m going to store the other square piece of cushion? (I might try hooking it over the table when it’s in its stored position on the far wall.)
